Add objectives

Account objectives can be added to the business plan directly or via the SWOT analysis screen. Objectives are the milestones you hope to reach on the way to achieving the account goals and are time specific, i.e. they start and finish on specific dates.
Open the account and navigate to Business Planning
Check on the grey ribbon that the correct plan is open. Click the down arrow on the information panel to select the correct plan if necessary
Click Add Objective on the Actions tab

The information required for objectives is configured to suit your organisation’s needs and fields may be different to those shown below
No: The objective number which is automatically assigned by the system
Start Date: Click the Calendar button to select a start date for the objective
Due Date: Click the Calendar button to select the due date for the objective. The due date must be later than the start date
Status: Automatically pre-filled with Ongoing. This field can be amended to show progress towards meeting the due date
Title: Click in the field and type a name for the objective
Description: Click in the field and type a description of the objective
Percent Complete: Indicator of progress towards meeting the objective due date
Active: Indicates that the objective is live
Click the Add button to save the objective to the business plan
