Translate
Search by territory or off-territory nationally/globally and convert your data lists from one entity to another, i.e. search for locations or meetings and display the result as a customer list. You can also view and search the system structure for a brick, geography or area.
From the Quick Search on the header bar, click the Down Arrow button and select Advanced Search

From the menu, select Home, Advanced Search
The Advanced Search screen is divided into two areas. You can use either or both of these to carry out your search.

The left side of Advanced Search
Use this search to look for an entity record in your database (customer, location, meeting or account) and display the results in the same or a different format.
- Click on the Search Entity button to select what you want to search for and type all or part of the name into the For field
- Leave the convert criteria alone if you want the results to display as they were selected originally, i.e. search for customers, display as a customer list
OR - Click the Convert to Entity button to select how you’d like the results displayed, for example, you may choose to search for a location and have the results are displayed as a customer list.
- In the List Style field, click the down-arrow and select the list type from the drop-down list
- Click the Territory button to search in your area only, or click the National button to search all off-territory areas
- Click the OK button to view the results
The right side of Advanced Search
Use this search to find an area within the database, i.e. which territory or geographical area does this brick/postcode belong to?
- In the Find field type the area you wish to search for (this depends on how your database is structured). The results will be displayed as a drop-down list beneath the Find field
- Select from the drop-down list and the tree structure will open to display the area
- Click the View As button to choose how you’d like the tree structure displayed
Use both sides of the list
Use this search when you want to look for an entity record in your database in a specific place.
- Complete the search fields on the left of Advanced Search
- Open the tree structure yourself to select the part of the hierarchy tree you wish to search
- Click the Go button to view the results in the list type specified
- Filter and select from the list to carry out actions as required
