Lists are everywhere and generally they follow the same format.

Search lists
Search lists are generated by quick search, advanced search or Data Explorer. You use them when you want to find a particular record before you do something with it.
The list header bar allows you to change the list type to view more or different information, and to filter the list to show fewer rows

The list footer allows you to move between pages, displays where you are in the list and how many rows there are in total

Selection lists
Selection lists are generated when you search for a customer or location in order to add them to something else, i.e. a contact or meeting record or an account plan, etc.
Depending on the action you clicked to open the selection list:
- The Customer or Location selection list will open automatically
- You may be able to select just one item, or use Shft+click or Ctrl+click to select multiple items.

- Highlight the area you wish to search in the hierarchy on the left. The list will automatically populate with everything in that area
- Tick the National Search box at the bottom-left to expand the hierarchy to show the entire database, and not just your area
- Filter the search by name. You can choose to search by customer or location name. If you search by location in a customer selection list, then all customers at that location will be shown
- Click on the item in the list to select it
- Click the Add button at the top-right of the list to add the selected item(s) to your open record
